Nightwish mit Konzept
»Human. :II: Nature.« – der Name des neuen Albums von Nightwish für 2020 ist Programm. Denn bei dem Nachfolger von »Endless Forms Most Beautiful« aus dem Jahr 2015, das in Finnland auf Platz eins, in Deutschland auf Platz zwei der Charts landete, handelt es sich um ein Konzeptalbum.
Das war zwar ursprünglich gar nicht geplant, aber weil sich in den Texten viel um die Menschheit und die Natur drehte, blieben die finnischen Symphonic-Metaller auf dieser Schiene. Eine gute Entscheidung.
Aufgenommen haben Nightwish »Human. :II: Nature.« zwischen August und Oktober 2019 auf dem Zeltplatz Röskö, in den Petrax Studios in Hollola, in den Finnvox Studios in Helsinki sowie im Studio Troykington Castle. Die Produktion übernahmen Tero Kinnunen, Mikko Karmila und Troy Donockley.
Herausgekommen sind neun beeindruckende neue Tracks sowie ein monumentaler weiterer Song, der in acht Kapitel unterteilt werden kann.
Fünf Jahre haben Metal-Fans auf diese Platte gewartet, jetzt werden sie mit einem Konzept-Doppelalbum belohnt: Hier ist »Human. :II: Nature.« von Nightwish.
