Der aus Atlanta stammende Rapper, Songwriter und Produzent Future meldet sich zurück mit seinem dritten Soloalbum »DS2«.
Future ist haitianischer Abstammung und zog im Alter von sieben Jahren nach Atlanta. Sein Künstlername leitete sich aus seiner Zeit beim Musikerkollektiv Dungeon Family ab, die ihm den Spitznamen The Future gaben. Sein Cousin Rico Wade war Produzent der Dungeon Family und ermutigte ihn, weiter an seiner Songwriterfähigkeit zu arbeiten und sich als Rapper zu versuchen. A-1 Recordings nahm ihn kurz darauf unter Vertrag.
