In 2001, Barbara Dickson received an OBE for her "service to music and drama". She has successfully balanced careers in music and musical theatre and has received the Laurence Olivier award and Variety Club of Great Britain show business award as "best actor in a musical".
As a top recording artist in the 1970s, her debut album sold more than 600, 000 copies remaining in the chart for more than a year. In February 1985, her duet with Elaine Paige went to Number 1, spending 4 weeks atop the summit.
This 18-track compilation of recordings all stem from the 80's & 90's, when she redefined herself musically and includes her take on many recognisable songs spanning four decades of music including re-workings of her biggest hits; ‘January February’, ‘Answer Me’, ‘Caravan Song’ and ‘I Know Him So Well’.
