Entsprechend aufgeräumt ist die Stimmung während der 90-minütigen Performance im berühmten Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee. Das Publikum lauscht still den zumeist verhalten und entspannt insze- nierten Songs und jubelt dazwischen nicht etwa oder rastet aus - es spendet anerkennend und üppig Beifall. Live in 2004 bietet ein komplettes Konzert mit Jones´ derzeitigem Bühnenprogramm, das sich aus den beiden Erfolgsalben "Feels Like Home" und "Come Away With Me" speist. Dazu gibt´s Gastauftritte, u.a. von einer aufgedrehten Dolly Parton ("Creepin´ In") und Gillian Welch & David Rawlings, die Townes van Zandts "Loretta" zelebrieren.
