Andrés Orozco-Estrada ist nicht nur der neue Chefdirigent des hr-Sinfonieorchesters in Frankfurt am Main, sondern er hält bekanntlich auch den Musikdirektorposten beim renommierten Houston Symphony Orchestra. Von dort kommt nun der erste Teil einer insgesamt auf drei Teile angelegten Dvorák-Edition, in der Orozco-Estrada neben den beliebten Slawischen Tänzen die Sinfonien 6 bis 9 des Tschechen mit US-Vergangenheit zum Besten gibt. Dieser erste Teil umfasst eine SACD mit den Sinfonien 7 und 8.
