Sie ist ein Klassiker des Opernrepertoires: Mozarts Così fan tutte gehört zu den bekanntesten Opern aller Zeiten und Nationen. In dieser Produktion des Royal Opera House steht u. a. der deutsche Startenor Daniel Behle als Ferrando auf der Bühne, in einem hervorragenden Ensemble mit u. a. Corinne Winters, Angela Brower, Martin Kränzle und unter der musikalischen Leitung von niemand Geringerem als Semyon Bychkov.
Die mit Stilmitteln zwischen Rokoko und Moderne spielende Inszenierung von Regisseur Jan Philipp Gloger wurde von der britischen Presse sehr gelobt: Sie vermittle ebenso viele ästhetische Reize wie sie die verstörenden, beunruhigenden Aspekte der Mozart-/Da Ponte-Oper hervorhebe.
Das engagierte Mozart-Dirigat Semyon Bychkovs wurde vom Evening Standard als »eine Unterrichtsstunde« wie Mozart heute zu dirigieren ist, bezeichnet. Alles in allem ist dies eine ganz hervorragende Produktion, die eine willkommene Bereicherung des Katalogs darstellt.
