Nachdem er in seinem Heimatland bekannt geworden war, veröffentlichte er dieses Album unter dem Label Columbia. Yellowman gilt als einer der Pioniere des Reggae und hat einen großen Beitrag zur jamaikanischen Musikkultur und zur Internationalisierung des Reggae geleistet.
