The SACD uses a higher digital resolution than the audio CD and also offers the possibility to store multi-channel sound (surround sound). To enjoy the music in high-end quality, a special SACD player is required. Thanks to the hybrid function, most of the products marked "SACD" in our store can also be played on conventional CD players. In this case, however, the sound does not differ from that of a normal CD. In case of deviations, we point this out separately (non-hybrid).

Night Passage ist das ursprünglich 1980 erschienene Album der Jazzrock-Legende Weather Report.
Bis auf den live in Osaka aufgenommen Titel “Madagascar” wurden alle Titel im August 1980 in den Complex Studios in Los Angeles live vor 250 Gästen, die auf einigen Tracks zu hören sind, eingespielt. Mit dem Percussionisten Robert Thomas Jr. Wird auf Night Passage ein neues Bandmitglied eingeführt und gleichzeitig auf überladene Keyboard-Flächen verzichtet.
Stattdessen hört man eine in bester Jazz-Tradition ausgiebig improvisierende Band. Das Album belegte Platz 1980 Platz 2 der Billboard Jazz Albums Charts.
