Ultramagnetic Mc's besteht aus TR »Funky« Luv, Dj Moe Luv an den One- und Two-Drums, Kool Keith, dem Produzenten Ced Gee und gelegentlich Tim Dog. Ihr zweites Studioalbum Funk your Head Up wurde 1992 veröffentlicht und stellt die Grundlage des Hip-Hop dar. Aus dem Album stammen die Singles »Poppa Large« und »Make It Happen« sowie Tracks von Kool Keith's »Pluckin' Cards«, »Dolly And The Rat Trap«, der Diss-Track »You Ain't Real« über den Rapper Freddie Fox, Skits, verrückte Beats und ausgefallene Lyrik.
