Die einzigartigen Psych-Folk-Pop-Rocker von The Coral erleben mit der Veröffentlichung von gleich zwei Alben und ihrem ersten seit »Wild Bird« von 2021 eine neue Phase ihrer künstlerischen Entwicklung. Mit der Vorstellung von verbranntem Sand, Papp-Cowboys und überfluteten Kulissen eines nie gedrehten italienischen Spaghetti-Westerns gibt die Single den Startschuss für eine neue Geschichte, die sich bis zur Veröffentlichung von »Sea Of Mirrors« hinzieht.
Das umfangreiche Album »Coral Island« von 2021 landete auf Platz 2 der offiziellen britischen Album-Charts. Inmitten dieses Songwriting-Krimis wurde von Keyboarder Nick Power ein Skript geschrieben und von Schlagzeuger Ian Skelly ein altes Kinofoyer-Plakat entworfen, das das lebendige Konzept von »Sea Of Mirrors« untermauerte und die Grundlagen dafür schuf, dass The Coral wieder einmal alle Erwartungen übertreffen würden.
