Die Blu-ray Audio Disc (auch Pure Audio Blu-ray) ist technisch gesehen eine ganz normale Blu-ray Disc und lässt sich auf jedem Blu-ray-Player abspielen. Allerdings enthält sie keinen Videoinhalt. Die hohe Speicherkapazität wird für hochauflösende Audiodaten (Stereo und Surround, bis 24 bit/192 kHz) genutzt. Bedient wird sie entweder ohne Bildschirm wie eine herkömmliche CD oder über das Onscreen-Menü wie eine normale Blu-ray Disc.

»Ammonia Avenue« war das siebte Album von The Alan Parsons Project und wurde erstmals im Februar 1984 veröffentlicht. Das Projekt war die Idee von Komponist, Musiker und Manager Eric Woolfson und dem gefeierten Produzenten und Tontechniker Alan Parsons.
Die Album Sessions fanden unter Mitwirkung von Musikern wie Ian Bairnson (Gitarren), David Paton (Bass) und Stuart Elliott (Drums) statt, mit Eric Woolfson an den Keyboards und Leadvocals bei vier der 90 Songs. Colin Blunstone, Chris Rainbow und Lenny Zakatek trugen Leadvocals auf den verbliebenen Songs bei.
»Ammonia Avenue« wurde zu einem der Bestseller von The Alan Parsons Project, erreichte Goldstatus in vielen europäischen Ländern und in den USA.
