Die griechischen Thrasher Suicidal Angels kehren 2024 mit ihrem 8. Studioalbum »Profane Prayer« zu Nuclear Blast zurück.
Nach der Veröffentlichung ihres ersten Albums im Jahr 2007 spielten sich Suicidal Angels als Support von Kreator und Celtic Frost in Griechenland die Zähne aus, bevor sie 2010 neben Kreator, Exodus und Death Angel an der MTV Headbangers Ball Tour teilnahmen. Nach dem grüblerischen Gitarren-Intro bricht die erste Single »When The Lions Die« mit ultra-tighten Rhythmen und wohlklingenden Gitarrenakzenten hervor und zeigt die Band von ihrer einprägsamsten Seite.
