Die fünfte Pink-Floyd-Box: ein entscheidendes Werk

Bereits Ende letzten Jahres warfen Pink Floyd mit ihrer gigantischen »The Early Years«-Box einen Blick zurück auf ihre Anfangsjahre. 2017 präsentieren die Rocklegenden jetzt eine Reihe von sechs Einzelboxen, die die verschiedenen Zeitabschnitte gesondert betrachten.

Die fünfte Zusammenstellung der Serie ist »Reverber / ation «. Sie betrachtet das Jahr 1971, in dem Pink Floyd das Album »Meddle« mit dem Opus »Echos« aufnahmen, das eine ganze LP-Seite einnimmt und von vielen als Grundstein für »The Dark Side Of The Moon« betrachtet wird. Als solches ist es ein entscheidendes Werk im Pink-Floyd-Kanon.

Die Box enthält einen Teil der Originaldemos, während derer das Projekt sich von »Nothing« zu »The Return Of The Son Of Nothing« entwickelte, sowie zeitgenössische BBC-Session-Aufnahmen.
