Im Jahr 2018 schloss sich Meyhem Lauren mit dem in Brooklyn ansässigen Produzenten Harry Fraud (A$AP Rocky, Wiz Khalifa, Lil Peep, Action Bronson, Benny the Butcher) zusammen, um Ihnen GLAS zu bringen. Das ursprüngliche 9-Track-Projekt umfasste Action Bronson, Westside Gunn, Conway the Machine, Big Body Bes und mehr. Für GLASS 2.0 ging das Duo zurück in die Archive, und sichtet die gesamte Musik der Sessions. Harry Fraud baute die unvollendeten Produktionen der unveröffentlichten Tracks neu zusammen und so entstand GLASS 2.0.
