Vielleicht kauft der eine oder andere ja diese 60 Songs auf 3 CDs, weil er Hits wie »El Paso« und »Devil Woman« schon kennt. Aber Marty Robbins ist wesentlich vielfältiger, als manche Fans vermuten – und das spiegeln auch die 60 Songs dieser Kopplung wieder. Abgesehen von Country Songs veröffentlichte er zahlreiche Aufnahmen, die den Genres Pop, Rock'n'Roll, Folk und hawaiianischer Musik zuzuordnen sind. Man kann Robbins getrost mit Bobby Darin auf eine Stufe stellen, denn auch er war äußerst vielseitig und ein begnadeter Songwriter.
