Incendiary Device (I.D.) ist aus der immer wieder aufkeimenden Hardcore- und Punkszene in New York City hervorgegangen. Gegründet von dem NYHC-Gesellen, Dokumentarfilmer und Filmemacher Drew Stone (Gesang) und Tristan D'Graves (Bass), ist die Musik von Incendiary Device durchdrungen von frühem Hardcore und klassischem Punk, während sie unausweichlich die Schärfe und den Biss ihrer New Yorker Wurzeln beibehält. Produziert wurde das Album erneut von der Band und Neal »Zum« Ostberg (Fryette und Sound City Amplification), gemischt von Dan Korneff (My Chemical Romance, Lamb of God, The Devil Wears Prada).
