House Of Pain waren eine auf ihre irische Herkunft fokussierte amerikanische Hip Hop Band, die in den Neunzigern drei Alben veröffentlichte. Rapper Everlast tat sich zusammen mit DJ Lethdal und seinem Schulfreund Danny Boy, um House Of Pain zu gründen. Die Band unterschrieb einen Vertrag mit Tommy Boy Records, ihr selbstbetiteltes Debüt "House Of Pain (Fine Malt Lyrics)" von 1992 wurde mehrmalig mit Platin ausgezeichnet und hatte mit dem von DJ Muggs (Cypress Hill) produzierten „Jump Around“ einen Megahit als Ass im Ärmel. Mit der Eigenvermarktung als ungehörige irisch-amerikanische Hooligans tourten House Of Pain nach ihrem Durchbruch mit den verschiedensten Rap Acts und Alternative Rock Bands.
