HERESY are one of the most influential UK Hardcore punk bands ever to exist. From 1985-1989 the band were one of the leading lights of the rapidly expanding UK Hardcore (Britcore) scene, and through their releases both for the then fledgling Earache label and through their own In Your Face imprint, their influence still lives on today, shown by the highly collectable prices paid for their long out of print back catalogue. Now, for the very first time, HERESY's back catalogue has been totally remastered by Kalv Piper and Steve "Baz" Ballam from the band, and "Face Up To It!" is the second of a trilogy of discography CD/LPs that Boss Tuneage is releasing, after the huge success of the first instalment, "1985-87" released late in 2005. "Face Up To It" was the bands solitary album, of which over 10, 000 copies were pressed and sold throughout the world upon its release in 1988. Always let down by poor production, the album is almost unnoticeable in its new, digitally remastered version, sounding a hundred times better than it ever has done before - and the best it will ever sound! Compiled with exhaustive and extensive sleevenotes from Kalv from the band, the packaging of the CD is a sumptuous digipack, resplendent with a huge 16 page full colour booklet insert containing dozens of never seen before photos, tour posters and lyrics. The CD version also contains a bonus 11 songs taken from pre-studio home demos / rehersals recorded prior to the album, which are the first time these archive recordings have been released. In essence, this release is an absolute must for any fan of HERESY or UK Hardcore. In addition to this there is a wonderful vinyl version too, in heavyweight coloured vinyl with gatefold sleeve, complete will all the same photos / lyrics / liner notes to be found on the CD version.
