Ich habe dieses Album vor fünf Jahren aufgenommen. Ich habe den größten Teil meiner Karriere damit verbracht, Bass oder Gitarre in anderen Bands zu spielen, daher ist es ein unglaubliches Gefühl, sagen zu können, dass dies mein erstes Album sein wird, das ausschließlich meine eigene Musik enthält. Ich bin unter dem Einfluss meines Vaters (R.L. Burnside) und Junior Kimbrough aufgewachsen und habe so viel gelernt. Dieses Album ist wirklich ein Zeugnis für sie, für das, was sie mir beigebracht haben, und für meine Entwicklung als Musiker. Ich hoffe, es macht sie stolz.
