Die nordirische Progressive-Rock-Band Fruupp veröffentlichte 1974 ihr drittes Album »The Prince of Heaven's Eyes«. Fruupp produzierte das Konzeptalbum selbst. Inspiriert vom Sound von Genesis schufen sie ein melodisches und strukturiertes Musikstück, das Rock mit Folk- und Klassikeinflüssen kombinierte. Im Mittelpunkt des Albums stand das Keyboardspiel von Stephen Houston.
Fruupp wurde 1971 von dem Gitarristen Vincent McCusker gegründet. Während ihres fünfjährigen Bestehens nahmen sie vier Alben auf.
»The Prince Of Heaven's Eyes« ist als nummerierte Limited Edition von 750 Stück auf rotem Vinyl erhältlich und in einer Gatefold-Hülle verpackt.
