Nur wenige zweifeln Frank Sinatras Pole Position in der Popularmusik an. Von den dunklen Tagen des 2. Weltkriegs bis zum Fall der Berliner Mauer war seine Stimme für viele der Soundtrack des Lebens. Sein Stellenwert als Sänger wurde allerdings oft von seiner Schauspielerei und seinem Wesen als Ikone ansich überstrahlt. Die Zusammenstellung der Singletracks auf dieser 3LP aus
