Dan Billu ist ein 34 Jahre alter Singer-Songwriter, Komponist und Produzent aus Tel Aviv, derseit dem Jahr 2013 in Berlin lebt. Dan Billu sagt über seine Wahl: »Choosing Berlin was easy to me. I came to Berlin as a tourist a few years before, and I felt a real connection to the place immediately, I felt the true embracement for art and creativity, as if it were just the right place for a new story.«
In diesem Ortswechsel drückte sich auch sein immer weiter gewachsenes Interesse an elektronischer Musik aus, das sich auf dem neuen Album anhand elektronischer Basslinien, Synths und Beats zeigt, die zu den üppigen akustischen Orchesterarrangements hinzukommen. Klassische Einflüsse kombinieren sich mit elektronischen Elementen, Billus sehr persönlichem Songwriting und seiner ausdrucksstarken Stimme.
