1987 von Les "Fruitbat" Carter und Jim "Jim Bob" Morrison gegründet, traten Carter The Unstoppable Sex Machine mit ihrem charakteristischen Punk-Pop-Stil, der mit Samples, Drum-Machines und sozialen Kommentaren angereichert war, auf den Plan. 1992 erschien mit "The Love Album" das Debütalbum von Carter USM bei Chrysalis Records und erreichte im Mai 1992 Platz 1 der britischen Album-Charts, was die Band zum Popstar machte.
Diese Neuauflage enthält das komplette Album neu gemastert auf CD 1, einschließlich des größten Chart-Hits der Band, "The Only Living Boy In New Cross", der Platz 7 der UK Singles Chart erreichte, sowie die Top 40 Singles "Do Re Me, So Far So Good" und "The Impossible Dream" (eine Coverversion des Standards "Man of La Mancha").
CD 2 enthält Raritäten, B-Seiten und die Nicht-Album-Top-20-Single 'After The Watershed (Early Learning The Hard Way)', sowie BBC 'Live In Norwich'-Aufnahmen und einen bisher unveröffentlichten Mix von 'Skywest And Crooked'.
CD 3 enthält den kompletten Glastonbury-Auftritt von 1992 von der legendären Pyramid-Bühne - zum ersten Mal in voller Länge erhältlich.
