Columbia Records und Legacy Recordings, die Katalogabteilung von Sony Music Entertainment, veröffentlichen das Projekt »Bob Dylan - More Blood, More Tracks - The Bootleg Series Vol.14«. Die neueste Ausgabe der gefeierten Bootleg Series stellt die sechs Studiosessions in den Mittelpunkt, aus denen das 1975 erschienene Album »Blood On The Tracks« hervorging. Das Album ist eines der meistverkauften in Dylans Karriere, erreichte Platz 1 der Billboard 200 und wurde 2015 in die »Grammy Hall Of Fame« aufgenommen. Ursprünglich waren für »Blood On The Tracks« vier Aufnahmetage in New York vorgesehen, die im September 1974 stattfanden. Der Künstler beschloss allerdings, einige der Tracks zu überarbeiten und ging deshalb im Dezember nochmals ins Tonstudio. Seine Wahl fiel auf das »Studio 80 in Minneapolis«, wo einige der Albumtracks neu eingespielt wurden. Auf »More Blood, More Tracks - The Bootleg Series Vol. 14« sind nun erstmals sämtliche Aufnahmen aus den Sessions in NYC und die klanglich überarbeiteten Minneapolis-Tracks zu hören.

Die neueste Ausgabe der »Bootleg-Series« dokumentiert die Entstehung des Meisterwerks in folgenden Versionen: die 6 CDs umfassende Deluxe-Version von »More Blood, More Tracks - The Bootleg Series Vol. 14« enthält sämtliche Aufnahmen inclusive zahlreicher Outtakes, die während der New York-Sessions eingespielt wurden, sowie die fünf ursprünglichen Minneapolis-Tracks als Remasters. Zusätzlich enthält die Deluxe-Ausgabe ein Hardcover-Foto-Buch mit ausführlichen Liner Notes des Journalisten Jeff Slate sowie eine Reproduktion des legendären 57-seitigen handschriftlichen Notebooks, in dem man Zeuge der Entstehung der Songtexte zu »Blood On The Tracks« wird.
Parallel wird »More Blood, More Tracks« auch als Einzel-CD sowie (mit gleichem Inhalt) als Doppel-LP veröffentlicht. Diese Ausgabe enthält eine Essenz der Deluxe-Box, bestehend aus elf der besten Tracks der New York Sessions.
