Williams, mittlerweile 79 Jahre alt, ist seit den 50er Jahren im Musikgeschäft aktiv. Er schrieb Songs für u.a. Parliament, Funkadelic, Stevie Wonder, produzierte Ike Turner und managte Soul-Star Edwin Starr. Er veröffentlichte Alben und Singles bei Fortune Records, Epic, Chess Records und seit Ende der 90er Jahre auf Bloodshot Records.

Auf seinem fünften Album für Bloodshot liefert uns Andre Williams einen gelungenen Potpourri aus Psychedelic Soul, R&B und Blues. Mit an Bord sind u.a. Dennis Coffey (Funk Brothers), Matthew Smith (Outrageous Cherry, Rodriguez), Dan Kroha (Gories, Demolition Doll Rods) und Jim White (Dirty Three, Cat Power).
