Die fünfte LP von ZZ Top, die im November 1976 veröffentlicht wurde, zeigte eine sanftere, fast Country-artige Seite der sonst so düsteren Bluesrocker. Bei Stücken wie "It's Only Love" und "El Diablo" hatte Gibbons' Gitarre ebenso viel Charme wie Biss; bei "She's a Heartbreaker" holte jemand eine Fiddle und ein Akkordeon hervor, und bei dem Instrumentalstück "Asleep in the Desert" waren es spanische Gitarren.
