Das Kollektiv mit D. I.Y.-Wurzeln hat sich - nicht zuletzt durch legendär stimmungsvolle Livekonzerte seit über 20 Jahren eine weltweite Fangemeinschaft erobert.
Das 2002 auf Gern Blandsten Records erschienene »Just The Best Party« wird bis heute von nicht wenigen ihrer Anhänger für das beste Album der Band schlechthin gehalten. Obwohl die ersten sechs Songs des Albums kurz zuvor als »International Smashism! EP« erschienen waren, verkaufte sich »Just The Best Party« sehr gut, einzig und allein als Vinyl-LP ist es bis heute nie erschienen.
Umso erfreulicher, dass Gern Blandsten und in Europa Gunner hier jetzt Abhilfe schaffen und die einzige Schwachstelle des Originals, das Frontcoverartwork, gleich mit beheben. Ein echter Klassiker!
