Five cuts find her fronting a band that in- cludes Buddy Guy on guitar, Little Walter Horton on harmonica, Fred Below on drums, Eddie Boyd on piano and organ and Jimmy Lee Robinson on bass. ..some effusive performances, but none comparing to the intensity evident on six tracks with Muddy Water's blues band. On these tracks Waters, Cotton and Spann rock the joint with their soloing and filigrees, and Thornton sounds mightily possessed."
