Pyrolator alias Kurt Dahlke ist Mitgründer des legendären deutschen Labels und Musikverlags Ata Tak, war Mitglied diverser wegweisender Postpunk-Bands wie D. A.F. und Der Plan und veröffentlicht unter seinem Künstlernamen seit 1979 auch Soloalben.
Mit seinem vierten Album betrat Pyrolator 1987 ganz neue Pfade: Er machte ausgefeilte, charttaugliche Popmusik - mit richtigem Gesang, jazzigen Harmonien und Saxofonsoli.
Das Album polarisierte: Die Kritiker waren begeistert, die Fans befremdet. Zeit, das ungewöhnliche Werk wieder zu entdecken. Das Reissue enthält vier Bonustracks.
