This is Mika Vainio's 4th solo album for Touch, after ONKO [Touch # TO: 34, 1997], KAJO [Touch # TO: 43, 2000] and IN THE LAND OF THE BLIND, ONE-EYED IS KING [Touch # TO: 54, 2003]. He is, of course, part of Pan Sonic with Ilpo V_is_nen, and also records solo as O. Black Telephone of Matter was recorded in Berlin from Autumn 2007 to Autumn 2008. Some of the sounds and enviromental recordings used by Mika Vainio have been recorded 8 or 9 years ago. This album concludes many ideas that have been in a process for long time.
