Digital Sound Art: Die Berliner Avantgardeband zielt auf den Tanzboden.
Kaum eine Band der deutschen Postpunk-/New-Wave-Zeit verdient das Etikett "Kult" wie Din A Testbild. Die 1978 von Mark Eins und Gudrun Gut gegründete Formation prägte die Berliner Musikavantgarde nachhaltig. Ihre erste Single "Abfall / Garbage" war ein Fanal für die ganze Westberliner Musikszene von 1978 bis 1982. 30 Jahre nachdem ihr Debütalbum "Programm 1" auf Klaus Schulzes IC-Label erschien, setzen die Berliner ihre Albumserie im Jahre 2010 mit "Programm 6" fort. Neben Mark Eins, Nutty Norman, Ralf Zimmermann und Axel Brand sind noch Gerrit Meijer (Ex-PVC) und Sängerin Bettina Schoch als Gastmusiker beteiligt. Din A Testbild zielen mit "Programm 6" auf den Tanzboden: treibende Basslinien, hypnotische Grooves, dunkle Harmonien, maschinenhafte Sounds, hervorgestoßene Shouts. Ihr Album spielt ohne Pause durch - so entsteht eine intensive, tanzbare, elektronische, expressive Klangcollage, in die sich aber auch immer wieder akustische Instrumente mischen. Digital Sound Art nennt die Band ihre "akustische Kulisse für das dritte Jahrtausend".
