After much touring in Scandinavia and Germany, The Bustups has built a reputation as an act not to be missed. With energy and a tight groove the band makes the crowds go wild. Ska label Step Aside Records (partners with HepTown Records) now releases the long awaited debut:"They're Airborne" (EP) The Bustups are based in Malmoe (Sweden) and has managed to create a truly magical and energetic debut, filled with bubbling ska songs. From the pop-inspired "No Fun At All" to rocksteady and reggaeflavoured "Linton Bob" all five songs share the common attributes of the sound of The Bustups: Coolness, grooveness and rudeness."They're Airborne" was recorded at Audioteket Studios in Sweden. It was engineered and produced by Mike Salonen and Nick Anderberg (from Step Aside Records), both with a past in the legendary skaband The Skalatones.
