Boxer wurde zwei Jahre mach dem Ende der Kult-Formation Patto von Mike Patto (Gesang) und Ollie Halsall (Gitarre) gegründet. Der Bassist Keith Elllis (ex-Van Der Graaf Generator, Juicy Lucy und Spooky Tooth) und Schlagzeuger Tony Newman (ex-Jeff Beck Group und Kevin Ayers Band) vervollständigten das Band Line-up. 1975 veröffentlichte die Gruppe dann schließlich ihr Albumdebüt "Below The Belt" auf Virgin Records. Esoteric Recordings präsentiert nun eine exklusive Wiederveröffentlichung von "Below The Belt". Inkl. Booklet mit komplett überholtem Artwork und einem Essay. Plus Bonus Track. Remastered.
