Bjarte Eikes Ensemble Barokksolistene ist solch ein alchemistisches Wunder oder wie das Fachmagazin Gramophone urteilte, »pures musikalisches Gold«. Ein paar Jahre nach dem Erfolgsalbum »The Alehouse Sessions« bringen die Musiker nun zusammen, was gar nicht so weit voneinander entfernt liegt: die Kneipe und das Theater. Eine sehr englische Mischung aus Shakespeare, Commedia dell'Arte und Jonglage mit Musik von Purcell, Volksliedern und Seemannsliedern.
