Thanks to the hybrid function, most of the products marked "SACD" in our store can also be played on conventional CD players. Witold Maliszewskis musikalische Karriere reichte von den großen Tagen des vorrevolutionären Russlands bis in die Sowjetunion vor dem Zweiten Weltkrieg. Sein Verleger war Belaieff in Leipzig, der einen großen Kreis russischer Komponisten vertrat, darunter auch Cui, Ljadow, Skrjabin, Tanejew und Glasunow. Maliszewski war der erste Rektor des Konservatoriums von Odessa. Nach der russischen Revolution zog er nach Polen, wo er am Warschauer Konservatorium unterrichtete, er wird daher häufig auch als polnischer Komponist betrachtet.
