Bilder einer Ausstellung (Klavierfassung)
The Blu-ray Audio Disc (also Pure Audio Blu-ray) is technically a normal Blu-ray Disc and can be played on any Blu-ray player. However, it does not contain any video content. The high storage capacity is used for high-resolution audio data (stereo and surround, up to 24 bit/192 kHz). It is operated either without a screen like a conventional CD or via the onscreen menu like a normal Blu-ray disc.

"Die aufgrund ihrer pianistischen und musikbildnerischen Qualität bereits gelobte CD-Einspielung wird von der Firma Tacet nun auf Audio-DVD angeboten. In zwei Varianten kann der Hörer Schirmers prägnante, einprägsame Interpretationen des russischen Bilder- und Reflektionszyklus′ auf einem bemerkenswert klingenden Fazioli-Instrument verfolgen. Ravels Miroirs werden per "Tacet Real Surround Sound" präsentiert, die Bilder zusätzlich auch im "Tacet Moving Real Surround Sound". Im Vergleich zur "normalen" Stereo-Version (Tacet 132) wird der Hörer in eine Lausch- und akustische Witterungsposition versetzt, als sei er vom Klavier gleichsam umstellt - eine nicht unbedingt natürliche Position (...)
