The Curious Bards teilen seit 2014 die Liebe für die barocke Musik Irlands und Schottlands und deren gälische und keltische Wurzeln. Ausgebildet an den Konservatorien von Lyon und Paris sowie an der Schola Cantorum Basiliensis, haben die »neugierigen Barden« zusätzlich traditionelle irische und schottische Spielweisen in ihr Musizieren integriert. Nach ausgiebigen Studien in Dublin und zu Hause in Frankreich finden sie einen kreativen und innovativen Zugang zu ihrem Repertoire aus verschiedenen Sammlungen des 18. Jahrhunderts.
