Und sie spielen auch mit: ein Hammer, ein Eimer mit Wasser, eine Saugpumpe und ein Teller. Wenn die Berliner Philharmoniker ihr jährliches Konzert in der Waldbühne geben, kann man sich sicher sein, dass es einige Überraschungen gibt. Und auch 2015 haben sie unter Sir Simon Rattle dieses Versprechen mit Bravour eingelöst – seien es die oben genannten, eher außergewöhnlichen Instrumente, die beim Soundtrack zu Tom und Jerry zum Einsatz kamen, oder die Cowboyhüte, die bei John Williams Musik zu Jäger des verlorenen Schatzes plötzlich zu sehen waren. Dabei kann man sich bei den Berliner Philharmonikern – allen Späßen, Requisiten und Showeinlagen zum Trotz – auf eines immer verlassen: ein Konzert von Weltklasse. Das Konzert wurde live in mehrere Länder auf der ganzen Welt übertragen und ist jetzt auf DVD und Blu-ray erhältlich.
