Die Musik wurde 2023 im Rahmen des »Week-End Howard Shore« von Radio France vom Gelblabel mitgeschnitten, ein mitreißendes Klangerlebnis unterschiedlichster Stile und Jahrzehnte mit Highlights seiner bekannten Soundtracks, darunter The Fly (Die Fliege), Naked Lunch, Ed Wood, Crash, Eastern Promises (Tödliche Versprechen) und natürlich The Lord of the Rings (Der Herr der Ringe) oder The Hobbit (Der Hobbit), aber auch das zart verspielte Catania für Klavier solo. Das Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France unter Leitung von Ludwig Wicki und Bastien Stil spielt die Orchesterwerke, Le Balcon unter Mike Schäperclaus die Kammermusik.
