Konzertante Aufführung auf Basis der Urfassung
Dies ist die wohl ursprünglichste Porgy & Bess-Interpretation: Harnoncourt instrumentiert mit original afrikanischen Trommeln und der Arnold-Schönberg-Chor musste den »Galla«-Dialekt einstudieren – zwei Beispiele für die Authentizität, die er mit dem Chamber Orchestra of Europe zelebriert.
