Biografie

William Steig wurde 1907 in New York geboren. Er studierte Grafikdesign und veröffentlicht seit den dreißiger Jahren Cartoons im legendären New Yorker. 1968 begann er eine zweite Karriere als Kinderbuchautor und hat inzwischen eine Vielzahl von Kinderbüchern veröffentlicht.
