Biografie
Stuart MacBride hat bereits in einigen Berufen gearbeitet, bevor er sich dem Schreiben zuwandte. Die dunklen Wasser von Aberdeen war sein erster Roman mit dem Ermittler Logan McRae und sorgte in Großbritannien sofort für Furore. Der Roman wurde als bestes Krimidebüt des Jahres mit dem Barry Award ausgezeichnet. Mittlerweile liegen bereits mehrere Logan-McRae-Romane vor, die die Bestsellerlisten stürmten. Außerdem wurde die Serie als Favorit der Leser mit dem 'Dagger in the Library' ausgezeichnet. Stuart MacBride lebt mit seiner Frau im Nordosten Schottlands.
