Kieran Larwood hat mit seinem Debüt den Times-Chicken-House-Schreibwettbewerb 2011 gewonnen.§Im Hauptberuf ist er einer von nur zwei männlichen Vorschul-Erziehern auf der britischen Insel Isle of Wight. Sein Alltag besteht darin, Kinderlieder zu singen, Schnürsenkel zuzubinden und zu erriechen, wem ein 'kleines Missgeschick' passiert ist, sowie endlose Berge von Papierkram zu bearbeiten.§Er lebt mit seiner Familie auf der Isle of Wight, und träumt davon nur noch Bücher zu schreiben und die 'kleinen Missgeschicke' jemand anderem zu überlassen.
