Biografie
Schon in ihrer Kindheit gehörte Julie Kagawas große Leidenschaft dem Schreiben: Langweilige Schulstunden vertrieb sie sich damit, all die Geschichten festzuhalten und zu illustrieren, die ihr im Kopf umherspukten - nicht gerade zur Freude ihrer Lehrer. Nach Stationen als Buchhändlerin und Hundetrainerin machte sie später ihr größtes Interesse zum Beruf und wurde Autorin. Sie lebt und schreibt mit ihrem Mann, zwei schwer erziehbaren Katzen und zwei Hunden in Louisville, Kentucky.
