"Vermello, the Blind Passenger" takes the red cat into one of the most exciting and at the same time most dangerous situations of his journey. After searching for a place for himself at Athens Airport among the rush, suitcases, and crowds of people, he unintentionally becomes part of an adventure that carries him high into the sky and far away - into the cargo hold of a departing airplane. Vermello only wanted to find a quiet place to rest and hide, but suddenly the doors close, the engines roar, and the airplane takes off. The little cat finds himself in the dark, cold cargo hold, surrounded by boxes, suitcases, and unfamiliar smells. At first, fear takes over: He hears the thunder of the engines, feels the freezing air, and for a moment wishes for nothing more than to have solid ground beneath his paws again.

But Vermello is not alone. Soon, he meets the cats Maxi and Mini, who could hardly be more different. Maxi is confident and sometimes cheeky, while Mini is cautious and reserved. Together, they bring an exciting dynamic to the adventure. They try to explore their unfamiliar surroundings and encourage each other to stay brave. Then there is Fips, the colorful parrot, whose loud squawking brings life into the darkness. His comments are funny, but sometimes also surprisingly true - exactly what the group needs to keep going in this difficult situation.

The hours in the cargo hold become a real test of courage: the cold, uncertainty, the cramped space between the boxes, and the knowledge that help will not arrive quickly make time seem endless. But in the middle of fear, something else begins to grow - friendship and unity. Vermello realizes that even in the greatest hardship, it is possible to find friends who bring warmth, comfort, and hope.

A special highlight is the encounter with the little raindrop Fimmel, who falls singing from a cloud and brings a brief, magical moment of light and happiness into the dark situation. This directly connects the story with the previous volume and shows that Vermello's journey is one large adventure in which many smaller stories come together.

"Vermello, the Blind Passenger" is an exciting and deeply moving story about fear, courage, and friendship. Children experience the drama up close, while adults discover between the lines how important trust and togetherness are when someone feels alone and lost. In the cargo hold, courage and friendship are put to the test. Cold, noise, darkness - and still there is hope. This is where true closeness is created. Vermello learns that even the darkest moments can become a journey of discovery when courage, friendship, and trust light the way forward.
