Cone was a forgotten construction cone who never moved from her spot. Every day looked the same-cars zooming, workers clanging, and animals hurrying past-and Cone was perfectly happy watching it all from her cozy corner.

But everything changed when-WHEEEE! BAM!-Cone suddenly found herself zooming through the city on top of a speedy new friend, a skateboard named Skate. Skate loved to roll fast, but Cone wasn't so sure. The world whirled by in a blur of fluttering kites, floating bubbles, silly painted goblins, smiling statues, and tiny glowing people in walk-sign boxes.

The sights were strange. The sounds were loud. Cone's tummy flipped and flopped as they rushed past the biggest puddle Cone had ever seen-an ocean! One wild crash later, Cone and Skate landed on a sandy beach full of warm breezes, playful dolphins, coconut scents, and laughing children.

Cone had never imagined a world so big and wonderful-and one that she never would have seen if she had stayed in her same comfortable spot at the road's corner. Together, the two friends discovered that life is full of surprises-especially when you're willing to roll someplace new.
