Xiu Xiu's third album from 2004 was an artistic breakthrough and helped expand the band's already devoted following. The LP version (unavailable for the last year or so) was originally released on the Free Porcupine Society label and has already sported two or three different covers. The new cover, as sultry and frightening as the music within, is by Brooklyn-based rising art star J. Morrison. Favorite tracks: "I Luv the Valley OH!,""Bunny Gamer," and the unbelievable title track.
