Rivers Cuomo sprach über das Album bereits vor zwei Jahren. Den finalen Titel "OK Human" bestätigte Cuomo dann in einem Interview mit der LA Times. Cuomo beschrieb das Album als "Klavier-basiert, sehr exzentrisch, mit Streichern, die bereits in Abbey Road aufgenommen wurden."
