»VOLUME III« enthält über 90 Minuten neues Material, darunter tolle neue Musikvideos, Backstage Einblicken und exklusive Szeneen, die nie zuvor zu sehen waren. Mushroomhead wurde von Drummer Skinny als Nebenprojekt gegründet. Die Band trug Masken, um unerkannt zu bleiben, doch die loyale Fanbase in Cleveland wuchs schnell.
1995 veröffentlichten sie ihr Album Mushroomhead, gefolgt von Superbuick in 1996 und M3 in 1999, alle in Eigenregie. Nachdem weitere Bands ihr Erscheinungsbild und ihren hyper-melodischen, heavy Style kopierten, änderten sie ihren Look.
