Parookaville ist kein normales Electronic Music Festival. Mit über 300 DJs, 10 Bühnen und 80.000 Besuchern zählt das Festival zu den größten in Europa. In diesem Jahr kümmert sich erstmalig Kontor Records um die Compilation und somit besteht diese nicht wie gewohnt aus 3 CDs, sondern aus 4 Tonträgern.
Die Regie der CD1 übernimmt der internationale Überflieger »Alle Farben«, der seit Jahren mit seinen Hits die Charts stürmt, CD4 widmet sich ganz der Musik der Classics / Legends-Bühne und wird von niemandem geringerem als DJ Urgestein »Da Hool« gemixt. Das Mixing der CD 2 & CD 3 übernehmen die Parookaville Resident-DJs FRDY & Lost Identity.
